Metamorphic Distance

Through an empty circle and the textured space surrounding it, I try to evoke the feeling of being both magnified and minimized at once—shifting through dimensions and distances, exploring the foundations of presence. My work grows through a process of mark-making and shading, building atmospheric depth that suggests both vastness and intimacy. By limiting elements and resisting overt explanation, I invite viewers into an open-ended space where perception is fluid and meaning remains unresolved. This reduction allows for an experience that is more felt than analyzed, where stillness and movement quietly coexist. In this way, my work is less about representation and more about creating a quiet, contemplative encounter with being itself.
